The University of East London, already major site for the discussion of pop music and politics, have teamed up with Wire magazine for an epic series of panel discussions and mini-conferences, running well into next year, that looks very exciting indeed. They divide into a 'Music, Politics and Agency in the Digital Age' series and a 'Critical Beats' series, named after the dance column in The Wire.
